Character • Intensity • Authenticity
Gloucester River Wines make small, very authentic vintages. John would be delighted to have you visit and sample the unique range of reds, whites and rose style wines offered.
Only 10 minutes from Gloucester, NSW, with plenty of parking and picnic spots on the shady river flats.
You’ll love the intimate views of the beautiful Buccan Buccans (Bucketts Mountains) from this winery.
John creates whites, reds and a wide range of Rose style wines using 460 year old methods brought from Central Europe, using closed and open vat fermentation.
No Synthetic Chemicals
The wines are full of character, often intense. Grown with nil or minimal additives and sprays.
Fertiliser is generated by the property's cattle and turned into 'cow tea' before being added to the vines. This is wine how it used to be made, complete with corks for reds!
"Grown in sunshine in the rich volcanic soil of the Gloucester region, naturally fertilised by 'cow tea', and weeded by our Guinea Fowl.
Matured and bottled right here...”
